Pettifer- I agree somewhat with what Infamy is saying, the stat comparison to O'Keefe makes good reading for Pettifer, but imv Pettifer has never been in the same class. Yes, he did improve 05-07, but there are areas of his game that he can't mentally overcome; staying on your feet, questionable 2nd efforts, and too much time and mental anguish arguing with the umpires. I like that Pettifer is a reliable long kick, unselfish, doesn't try to do too much with it, his fitness has improved last few years too. I'll leave that one up to the footy dept I think!
McMahon- Agreed has had half a dozen really good games. Has had half a dozen shockers too and needs to cut those down, everyone is entitled to one every now and then, he has too many. The problem with this 'quarterback' thing is if they are having a bad night, opposition coaches latch onto it straight away and actually let them have as much footy as they like, thus increasing clanger opportunities!
Morton- Like a lot on here, I'm a fan, 34 goals is a terrific effort, should be given every opportunity next year.
