l know several current players & ex players from several clubs who are users
drugs are rife in the AFL
even the 1980 premiership players were accused of taking drugs by there own premiership teammate
most of these drugs are offered to players at parties held by the high profile socialites
some are offered to players by celebrities singers/actors
they then turn to using them when they can to enhance there fun because everyone else is doing it (but me since l quit
) & to take the peer preasure off them from being in the spotlight it takes the edge off cause you know everyone is watching you & you think its ok because higher profile people have said to you its ok
Ben Cousins needs help & people close to him will help him through it
l bet them non perscription drugs come from another person close to him who was taking them by perscription say no more about that
there are different rules for different fools so many high profile people take drugs at parties even with police in the same room & nothing is done
This is just another little drug issue
l can go to court for the same thing he been charged with & get maybe 2 years loss of licence & $1000 fine & wont even make the local paper
But because Ben is a high profile AFL champion he has lost everything from his woman, his mate through death, his job & cannot work in his trade again for being a deregistered footballer, his licence, & his name will be tarnished forever in history through media which is going overboard l think for a simple relapse in rehabilitation
Daniel Chick has hardly made the papers he also was charged so why not give him some media
what about others involved why dont the media name them as well l just dont understand why
l like Ben Cousins as a champion footballer & hope he makes it back his not 30 yet but l dont like his attitude & that attitude is brought on by drugs
