Back to the Bronx we go after the Phillies win game 5

8-6

Diabolical pitching performance by the Yankees starter A J Burnett, who lasted to the third. The 2 home runs given up by Yankee pitcher Phil Coke (the joke who choked) in the 7th proved costly as well

Great effort by the Yanks to get as close as they did

But I am very very disappointed

Well done to the Yankees winning the series 4-2.

I'd say right now WP would be watching the replay as it is on Channel 502 if he hasn't yet seen it. :thumbsup

Verlander.

Only pitched 1 inning before the rains came yesterday

Both teams pulled thier starters for the resumption today

I reckon if Verlander had of pitched today result may have been different

But I glad he didn't

Go YANKEES  :thumbsup

Damn Tampa knocked the Redsox out at the death.

Still got my old team Cardinals in for a show - Don't mind the Tigers or Brewers either, still plenty to go for against the Yankees  ;D

Yankees on the brink of post season knockout

Verlander wins it for Detroit and they take a 2-1 lead with tomorrow's game in Detroit

AJ Burnett the US$86 million dud going to the mound for the Yankees

Think we are "goneskis"  :'(

Texas lead Tampa Bay 2-1 as well
