Trade him for 3 first rounders, then pick him up for free agency when our premiership window opens. Why not make the agreement with him now?

Dodgy as but no rule to stop this from happening.

Scully could go back to Melbourne for nothing soon. This could have been a clever agreemant. So Dees lose Scully for 2 first rounders. Then get him back when they are challenging.

Do it with Dusty too. Send him to the Lions who will give up the world for a young gun and have him walk back to use when available. We gain 4 first rounder draft picks and in 3 years time have Rance and Dusty back.
