Swans head trainer dies
« on: August 08, 2004, 02:29:16 AM »
What a tradegy  :(. Collapsed by the players' bench midway through the last quarter due to a massive heart attack.

RIP. Sympathies and condolances to his family and the Swans.

That is sad news. Did the players know at the time? That would be pretty gut-wrenching. Condolences.
My parents bought me a Richmond jumper and enrolled me in a junior footy clinic in 1981...look at me now.

From what I heard, some of the players and I think also the coach found out part way through the last quarter.

Players coming on and off the bench would've known, I believe.

Condolences to all concerned.
