Richo @ Echuca AFL community camp.

Richo said the AFL community camps were a great concept since it started 6 or 7 years ago.  We’ve been all around Victoria – Mildura, Ballarat, Traralgon, Phillip Island and now Echuca – good chance to get out and mingle with the community – schools and hospitals – and put something back in the community.

He grew up in Devonport and never had the opportunity to have an AFL team come down there, so the fact that we’re doing it is great for the kids and the community.

Our under 21 age group is really talented and a lot of potential there.  If they can put it together and the older guys can maintain their level we can do something this year.

Re Shane Edwards – played a few games last year and showed a bit.  Could be a Nathan Foley and step up and become a regular player.

Scares him being the oldest on the list .  Just realizes he’s getting old.

Cheers Moi  :cheers. Grandpa Richo lol.

Edwards has been mentioned a few times by the senior boys. A big call to compare him to Axel at this stage although when Foley started he was small too. It's only been the last 2-3 years that he's bulked up in the upper body.
