They should slash his pay.
It'll get hosed down.
If he didn't have shoes on he might be a twinkle toes this week.

Fevola's fate in Blue hands
Mark Stevens | March 18, 2008 12:00am

Candy bartender Stu Bellis told Channel 7 last night of his run-in with Fevola.

"I noticed from inside . . . someone was urinating at the glass window here," Bellis said. "I came sort of running out, telling him to stop doing it. He asked me what my f---ing problem was.

"He was just giving me little shoves the whole time.

"And then one of his friends tried to drag him away and that was when he went forward and hit me in the chest.

"It was a pretty decent shove. I had the railing behind me otherwise I would have been on my back probably.

"It's not a toilet. It's the front of our shop. I said, `How would you like it?'.

"He said he wouldn't care."

Fevola's wife Alex was also at the bar and features on the footage. She remained tight-lipped last night when contacted by the Herald Sun.

"I've got nothing to say, sorry," Alex Fevola said.

Carlton confirmed last night it had spoken to Fevola.

"Brendan has confirmed an incident did take place and the club is considering the issue seriously," its statement said.

Fevola facing a club suspension from round-one
Samantha Lane and Nick Sheridan | March 18, 2008

A club source told The Age last night that penalising Fevola by banning him from doing what he loves most — playing football — might be the only way to get the message through to the forward, whose catalogue of off-field misdemeanours continues to grow.

Issuing a suspension to a match-winning player before the club's much-anticipated season opener against Richmond on Thursday night would set an example to the Blues' young list, the source said.

While removing Fevola from the leadership group would seem an obvious penalty, it's understood Fevola's teammates feel the 27-year-old is more likely to flout team rules when he is not in a position of responsibility.

Channel Seven news last night screened security camera footage that showed the Carlton forward appearing to unzip his pants and then urinating on the window of the Candy Bar, on Greville Street, at 4.18am on Sunday.

The Age understands that the Blues' leadership group had warned the wider playing group to be careful over the last weekend before round one. It is believed the leadership group is likely to be more scathing about the fact that Fevola could have been in a state to behave in such a way, more than the action itself.

The video camera footage also shows Fevola shoving Bellis before crowd control staff intervened.

Bellis said he did not want to press charges against Fevola, but that he wants him to pay the bill for cleaning the window.

SEN said the Carlton leadership group has met Fevola. No news yet but the reporter reckons it's more likely he'll be suspended.

i couldn't care less if he plays or not.
thats football.
no one cares when we had half our team out or when we were down with one tall for the most part of last year, thats footy.

if he plays he plays, if he doesn't well look out if we don't smash them.

it should pretty much be a formality in my eyes

SEN saying Fev is still at Princes Park. Been there since this morning being questioned. The Blues won't give a time frame for a final decision as they are "taking it seriously".

Fevola to play

Confirmed by Swann - Fev will play

Stood down from leadership group
Fined $10,000
Enrol him in alcohol education
Any further alcohol related incidents and his contract will be terminated.

Swann said suspending him wouldn't have solved the problem. Said they couldn't win as if they had suspended him people would've have said they were too harsh.
