JON in defence to Cogs handabll to Caruso to Polo to Polak. Polak inside 50 finds Cleve directly in front. Just sneaks in.

Patchy game.

36 kicks to 58
Inside 50:  13 - 12
Clearances: 4 - 3
Frees: 4 - 11

Petts 8 (7 kicks)
Polak 5
Tivs 5
Connors 5
JON  4

Rawlings said we are giving them to much easy ball with our defence puishing back so 1-on-1 boys. Praised Polly up forward for his leading up the ground. Said we'd be in trouble without him. Praised our closing down and tackling. Unlucky not to get a few holding the ball decisions inside 50. Haven't played our best but really having a go so let's get going.

Horne slips to ground in the marking contest so the Pies get a easy mark and goal.

Coburg stuffs up a good chance for goal. Joel tries to be too cute and the ball is smothered. Then Caruso gets pinned for a throw instead of having a snap himself. Pies run it down but luckily only get a point.

32 - 28

Turnovers by foot galore.

Getting a bit feisty and the Pies get a free and from it a goal.

Then after turnovers, stuff-ups and blind umpires Petts gets it to jOel who misses.

Cleve copped a poke in the eye and is in the rooms.

Schulz back on.

Heaps of turnovers and miss hitting targets by both sides once they go forward.

Half time

Coburg    4.2    8.5-53
Coll'wood  3.3   6.5-41

Goals:  Tivs 2, Hughes 2, Bowden, Petts, Cartledge, Liddle

Up to half time

Polak - been good for mine.
Cotchin - Afew good things but not outstanding, wont get a game vs Geelong based on 1st half.
Bowden - Dont know what to say, gets it easy at this level, but not impressing. Should stay @ Coburg
Polo - Dont know where Deans at, needs to do more
Petts - See Polo
Rance - Doesnt seem to know how to get more involved in the game at the moment.
Cogs - Ok but nothing great
Schulz - Not bad, but not scintillating.
JON - I like how he knows how to get, but disposal and decision making ?
Tivs - Better than VFL average, not good enough for AFL.
Hughes - Doing a nice job at FF, Mobility good. Could get promoted soon.
Silvester- Good for VFL level.
Cartledge - See Silvestor
Connors - Needs to answer 1 question: Do you wanna be a good AFL player and play 200 games?
Graham - Work in progress.
