Hi Everyone.

Unfortunately we have not heard back at all from Jade Rawlings  :-[

So it looks like no "ask the coach" this week.

I'll speak to the head of the Sunday Team, (as they are doing Coburg v Bendigo next week) and see if I can get him to do ask the coach next week.

Sorry I couldn't pull thru with it guys - but I have heard nothing from him! (but I do understand he's a busy man).

You would like to think so if he is listed as "available".  But then, this is Richmond we are talking about...........

Good to see Danny on a HBF. Would be nice if at least one of Meyer or Casserly came good.

Couple years ago Danny was looking rather good against the Cats with 20 touches.

He's been injury plagued, he may not be any good, but i'm glad he might get the chance to prove himself.

Danny Meyer has had a bad run, but I hope he is still on the list come 2009 and given one more chance. It hurts the club whn first round drat picks don't work out, and they should be given every chance.

Meyer looks like Alex Gilmour MK2.

But he has abit of class and is a loverly kick and lets hope he gets BOG this week and is playing Coburg next week.

 - Raines (53 games, 22yoa)
 - Jackson (40, 22)
 - Polo (26, 21)
 - White (23, 21)
 - Meyer (17, 21)
 - JON (7,20)
 - Collard (1, 19)
 - Casserly (0, 20)
 - Collins (0, 19)

I wonder how many spots on the list their age for that group of players, long term.

Yep good news to see Danny is back playing again. I wouldn't say he's a Gilmour clone though. Gilmour had other issues that weren't long-term injury. Gilmour was also a Miller speculative pick.

Not sure if you could call it speculative MT.  He had good football credentials and was our first pick at 21 in the 2003 draft.  He just didn't have the head to deal with what was required (and incidentally, that's what I like about our recruiting policy since - we now place much more emphasis on attributes like attitude, intelligence, morals and level headedness than we did in the past).

Hi guys - quick heads up.

We MIGHT be doing a talk-back segment from 10.30am this morning from the MCG prior to the game on 1611 AM www.radio1611.com.au

This is the first time ever we're going to do it - so we hope the tech side of things work!

By the way - grey, dark and rain is coming down outside in the city at the moment.

Peter - 1611 AM
