SYDNEY has offered a five-year contract to Daniel Kerr.

In a concerted effort not to bottom out under coach Paul Roos after quick exits in the past two finals series, the Swans are understood to have identified Kerr as their priority target this year after a series of high-profile recruiting coups.

Bulldog Farren Ray will decide this morning whether to quit the Dogs.

How do Sydney get the other first round pick?

Would Ross Lyon trade pick 13 for o'Keefe?

I can't see anyone giving a first round pick for a 32 year old.

If the doggies reckon they are only one big man away from a premiership they might just use their no 14 pick

 :outtahere  ;)

Naa I'd say he'll be requesting a return home to a WA team.

I'd snap him up in a heartbeat and put him on the other back flank with McMahon.   ::) ::) ::)

Now, where's Daniel?   ;D

Tough one for the dogs if they end up having to use their first pick to land father-son ruckman Ayce Cordy

Kerr says he wants to remain an Eagle for life and is holding out for a long-term deal.

"I would imagine we would be getting it done in the next week or so, and hopefully we can come out and say it is all over and I am going to stay with the Eagles and finish my career here," Kerr told 6PR radio on Wednesday night.

Rumour going around that Brad Green maybe looking elsewhere as he wants a three year deal and Melbourne are only offering two.

Thankfully not one of Plough's former players. Stay far away Tigers  :help.

What happens there. Isn't trade week before the F/S bidding?  ??? A loophole in the rule. Trade your first pick for a gun experienced player and then pick up the gun F/S with a mid-30s pick.

Melbourne have agreed to Brad Green's 3 years so he's staying.

http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,25197,24403204-5012432,00.html

ST KILDA yesterday denied that contracted big-game flops, Nick Dal Santo and Justin Koschitzke, were being hawked around to rival clubs.

The highly paid pair, who are believed to each earn upwards of $450,000 a season, will remain at Moorabbin next season, unless "a massively attractive trade deal was offered", according to a senior Saints source. Rival Melbourne clubs yesterday reported that both players had been offered to them for first-round draft choices, but this was emphatically denied by St Kilda.

MT - the F/S bidding is on the first morning of trade week.  Looks like they thought about that loophole  :)
