According to whispers on 3aw tonight, Daniel Harris is set to be traded by North.

I've heard he and Laidley don't see eye to eye
And you may not think I care for you

The Demons are keen to lure Alwyn Davey from Essendon to join his brother Aaron at Melbourne.

The Dockers are also desperate to re-sign 23-year-old midfielder/defender David Mundy, who is attracting strong interest from several Melbourne clubs, including Richmond and Hawthorn.

"David's very much a required player and we've moved him into the midfield," Harvey said.

"It's a big part of what we are doing going forward."

Our club seems to be engaging in stupidity. Warnock isnt worth the money or the picks, Mundy isnt required because we have similar types ... just stupid if its true.

Yes exactly.

if this is true then we deserve to be in the wilderness for another 5 years.

we have stuffed up many times doing this exact thing, and as recently as last year with Mcmahon so FFS lets not make the same mistake.

Mundy, Warnock :clapping why cant we blood on our own. how about investing some money into that.

carledge, angus, putt. lets get them into the gym instead of worrying about quick fixes all the blood.y time

Cartledge isnt AFL standard, Putt is a full forward/fp-ruck type, and Graham is struggling, and yes we have big concerns in the ruck, but that doesnt mean we should cough up our picks or $500k a year for Warnock.

Exactly right. Rucks are overrated these days, we're much better sticking with what we've got than splashing ridiculous money and trade value on a young, largely unproven ruck.

Dockers could lose star pair (Age)

Any back to the topic ......

Dockers could lose star pair
Michael Gleeson | September 11, 2008

FREMANTLE, having lost the battle to convince promising beanpole ruckman Robert Warnock to remain in the west, now confronts the even more damaging prospect of losing a second player to homesickness, with David Mundy still undecided on where he will play next year.

Rangy defender Mundy, a highly rated running player, would be even more keenly sought than Warnock by Victorian clubs.

Tim Boyle may be shopped around by the Hawks. He's considered a spare forward.

Hawthorn will soon step up interest in out-of-contract Fremantle utility David Mundy, who is contemplating a return home to Victoria after three years on the Dockers' list.

Mundy, one of three Fremantle players to play all 22 games this season, deferred contract talks with the Dockers until the end of the season, and the Hawks have him in their sights to fill a role in defence next year.
