THE Richmond spirit lives on at the Canterbury Cricket Club.
Tigers "Immortal'' Francis Bourke showed at the weekend he is still in great form with the bat.
The AFL Team of the Century champion made 56 to pilot home Canterbury's fourth XI (8-232) in reply to Tooronga Districts' 225.
The premiership player needed only another five runs to match his age.
Bourke, who opened the batting, was well supported by Michael Richmond, who made 52. He is a grandson of legendary Tiger administrator, the late Graeme Richmond.
