TFL or anyone head down to Gosch's paddock this morning to see how Post and co. did running around for Coburg?

Apparently Coburg lost by 7-9 goals going by the Pies BF forum. "Coburg played the same zone as Richmond and there (sic) skills are woeful".

Edit: Polak, King, Browne and Gilligan played. Is that Schulz in the background of the pic?

Final score was:

Coburg        6.5-41
Coll'wood  15.14-104

The Pies had 15 AFL listed players. I wouldn't have thought Coburg had anywhere near that many Richmond listed players.

Polak played CHF against Tyson Goldsack.

ps. A shame we have to get this info from Collingwood's website when nothing has been mentioned on the Coburg site  :P.

At least some positive news from the game ....

"In better news, Tiger Graham Polak looked good in Richmond's intra-club"

Coburg Intra Club Match Report

The game went very well. Our experienced players were very good, Nick Carnell, Nat Caruso, Andrew Horne.

Nic Cattapan was good, Jake DeSousa, Rhett Jordon and Daniel Bramich played very well. Of our new players Ryan Allan was in the best 5 players on the ground, Chris Tsardkis had a good game on the wing, Jacob Hislop and Matt Deledio were solid. Tim Clarke demonstrated great leadership on the field and played a good game.

We played at Craigieburn. The surface was quite good. It was a tough wind the players had to contend with. Steve Kelly has
a minor leg injury, otherwise we got through the game unscathed.

ABC GETTING PICKY

Read more at Inside Football

The days of all clubs getting ABC TV exposure are coming to an end. The broadcaster has told the VFL it is changing its focus and wants to cover the best matches. It’s bad news for clubs down the ladder: previously every team got at least one televised match each season. “(It is) disappointing for the poorer-performing clubs but it will showcase the VFL competition better,” AFL Victoria CEO Peter Schwab said. He said the ABC coverage was “critical” to the VFL’s brand and profile.

So far they have announced the first of what is supposed to be 4 week blocks.

R1 PortMelbourne v Nth Ballarat
R2 Frankston v Sandringham
R3 Williamstown v Werribee (VFL fixture indicates this is a Sunday Game)
R4 Nth Ballarat v Collingwood.

First 3 OK but HTF do you explain round 4 based on thier reasoning, I'll tell you they dont which makes it a total crock of uknow lets have a look at round 4

North Ballarat vs Collingwood  :rollin @ match of the round u fools ABC evetual premiers v pond scum dweller with 6 wins for 08.

Coburg Tigers vs Casey 5th v 6th from last year
Williamstown vs Sandringham  3 v 9 from last year
Port Melbourne vs Geelong   1 v 10 close call but find it more appealing all the same
Werribee Tigers vs Box Hill Hawks 4 v 11 still more appeal
Northern Bullants vs Frankston 7 v 8 from last year should be a cracker

So HTF again do we figure round 4 out, I know but I am not telling fn Skunks WAF joke
