This is why we need Raines to have a standout year in 2009 because while he may be a good player for us he definately expendable whereas losing a player such as McGuane would hurt us.

We can only hope that our young better players believe that we are on the cusp of greatness in the next year or two and choose to remain with the group rather than defect to the GC for more money and/or oportunities.

I know what you are saying Stripes I am a fan of McGuane but if they offered me a top ten draft pick for McGuane I would leap at it, actually I would probably be just as keen for a first rounder for him.

Raines and McGuane for a top ten and a first rounder, actually I think I am just dreaming now.
