From memory you gotta be a none subscriber for 2 months before you can re-sign as a new costumer and get the deals.

Hey WP, are you with Foxtel through Telstra or Foxtel directly? If it is through Telstra than you have no bargaining power.

If you have it through Foxtel, call up to cancel with your valid reasons, they will say "yes, not a problem". At a point down the track someone will call back to confirm you want to cancel, at which point you say "yes, still not value for money" . . . Usually a day or 2 before the cancellation takes effect, the retentions team gives you a call and this is where the magic happens!

Foxtel direct JVT, been with them since the original sattelite mob Galaxy went belly up and Foxtel took them over.

Only wnat to upgrade to HD to get better picture quality - the standard grpahics on the sports channels is horrible
