If we can get these 2 without losing any draft picks then it's a good move.

LMAO also at the greater than sign.  How do you do a greater than and equal to sign ?
Does anyone have half an idea on anything?

Guys, you are forgetting one thing.  Both want to come and play for the Tigers.

I would rather a Giblee and a P Bowden who would put it on the line for the Tigers, than some of those insipid performances I saw this year.

Rodan for Giblee?

They just had Rodney Eade on Ch 10 news. He said the Dogs want to keep Gilbee and said he's  contracted (they might try to play hard because we have Wallace). But he also admitted we've approached Patrick Bowden. He seemed very unconfident keeping Patrick as he's uncontracted.

Wallace admits approaching Bulldog Bowden

Richmond coach Terry Wallace last night admitted he had approached Patrick Bowden, brother of the club's 2004 best and fairest Joel, in an attempt to lure him to Punt Road.

"He's an uncontracted player," Wallace said last night on the Fox Footy Channel's White Line Fever.

"He missed out on their side . . . when they went up to Darwin (to play Port Adelaide in round 20) - that's where his family's from. His parents are obviously strong Richmond people, with his father playing for the club. So we spoke to him, but I don't think we'd be the only ones that had spoken to him."

Bowden, whose father was a member of the 1969 Richmond premiership team, met Wallace after he was dropped from the Bulldogs team that played Port in Darwin.

Bowden is out of contract and is believed to have gone north to spend time with his family.

His manager, Paul Connors, yesterday would not comment on Bowden, although he confirmed that he had met Bulldogs recruiting manager Scott Clayton yesterday morning. Bowden is not expected to decide whether to stay at Whitten Oval for at least a couple of weeks.

A source close to Bowden confirmed yesterday that the 23-year-old forward was extremely disappointed after being dropped for the Darwin game, but he believed Bowden wanted to remain at least for the short term.

If the Dogs don't accept some type of deal then we can pick him in the PSD for nothing.

Yes I understand, I should have re-phrased that I would prefer to keep Roder than get Bowden....
If he chooses to go the PSD way, I would like to think that we dont use our early picks on him.
