JONs problem is not just his own, I suspect that he is not well managed by the coach and would be much better placed on list with a lot more experience and depth - like say the Cats.
I think that comment belongs on the "everything is TW's fault" thread.
I think that comment belongs on the "everytime TW gets a hint of criticism, i throw a hissy fit thread"
We have a good coach - not great but good. Player development has been an issue, heres hoping this year we nip it in the bud.
He is too exposed to unrealistically high expectations at a club like Richmond.
What expectation should we place on a four year player former first round draft pick?, he should be starting to show something by now. Unlike the Cats we cant afford to carry passengers.

He has been in the system for 3 seasons and is now entering his 4th season. We all know he is not a top 10 pick - there are still supporters out there who think that is the basis for judging his playing ability. It is on that basis I make the comment that expectations are too high.
Like the Cats who we have modelled our list on, we have recruited a number of younger players who are developing at very different rates - Andrew Mackie is one example of a player who has developed at a much slower rate than say a Joel Selwood.
JON may not make the cut, we'll find out this year. He is a bit of a whipping boy for Tiger fans and I feel a bit for the poor bugger, maybe he should have been given 32!!!
