Opposition fan sites
« on: March 20, 2007, 01:19:30 PM »
I would like to know some of the fan site for other teams that I could visit to get a idea on injuries and news. I know some of you have quoted some others sites over the years but it would be nice to have a tread with them all listed.

Please post any other teams fan sites may know of.

NB: We don't need any other Tiger sites, this site has all anybody would ever need.

Years ago I joined a doggies site cos I wasn't able to get onto the Tigs site I wanted.  A few of us hung around in there and talked footy and stuff.  The really funny thing was that the site had hardly any members and when all us tigers joined up the admin dude was ecstatic.  We drifted away over time.  i feel a bit sorry for him now.

The other thing was this bloke had written a completely revised history of the Footscray Football Club and was including VFA premierships in their flags tally.  He wanted to shift their name back to Footscray Football Club and was actively campaigning against the Western Bulldogs name.  His rationale for this is that a club should represent an area and a name like Western was meaningless.  Western isnt a place and so on.

It was a pee-er.

Pretty sure the bloke that runs that Footscray site posts on here under the name Black.
