I think I would play Polo over Edwards in MT's side as I believe at this present time Edwards turns the ball over far more. Other than that the teams looks very stable if they line up like that. The best one I like the most is seeing Schulz at FF, just something about that, that balances the side up for mine.

Not much between Edwards and Polo .....I think Shane might be a little more polished around the goals .Polo wont have to wait long for his chance.

Both have been groomed for the same backman role so they may be competing against each other all year. I still think, now he is injury-free and fit, Polo is ahead at this point.

It seems supporters would have Polo ahead of Edwards but the coaching staff think the reverse. Royal said in that list summary that Polo was in the top 24. Code for he's an emergency.

Hey MT, based on what you have seen as training and the pre-season games would you put Edwards in front of Polo?

Given number of times Dean Polo's been named 24th player during the Wallace regime, he should be changing his name to Jack Bauer.

Edwards has been playing a new role in the backline as a small defender/HBFer over preseason. Not sure if it's been that successful but he's been playing a different role to Polo who has been played more in the midfield. So it may not be a question of one or the other. Polo has to compete with our other star mids who would be ahead of him whereas Edwards is alongside Newy, Rainesy and Jordie.

 :thumbsup

It looks a good side on paper and stronger that Carlton's especially our forward line to their backline but I don't think we'll line up exactly like that. Richo is a wingman/midfielder now days  ;D and hopefully Joel is played forward not in defence.

We've just got to make sure we treat their newbies with respect and not let any them get under our guard because they are fairly unknown.

Always looks good on paper MT, did last year for our Centenery game as well, not sure I like Bowden back there and Thursty on the bench. Would rather have Cuz in the centre than Edwards, love the Deledio & Foley combination though.
