If a Club wants to get Otto and needs to give up players to make room in their salary cap then it’s going to have to be a three-way (or more) deal, so that we can pick up as many draft picks as possible, because we don’t need someone else’s problem children when we’ve had more than our fair share.

And it sounds as though whatever Clubs are willing to offer won’t be the players we would want.  If they’re expendable at other Clubs the chances are we don’t need them at RFC.  So, apart from picking up a ready made ruckman, I would rather we get as many draft picks as we can along the way and build and develop our own playing list.

Wallace said he doesn't want players for Ottens - he wants 2 first round picks minimum.
Does anyone have half an idea on anything?

Terry  :thumbsup

We won't get two first rounders, but a first and second round pick should suffice.

We shouldn't even be looking at players in their 20's unless they are genuinely good players that are guaranteed to be there peaking in five years time. If clubs have players in such a category you can be guaranteed they won't be lettign them go. So in other words, let's concentrate on getting draft picks.
