Actually thought it was his best game for the Tigers

He has been playing this type of hit up forward target role at Coburg since last year and he has played it very well.

I thought last night he again played the role well. I agree there were times his leads weren't honoured but is that his fault or the fault of his team mates? People are probably fair in saying that his team mates may lack confidence in him but given time and what he showed last night that should change.

The most pleasing thing that I saw was that when he made a mistake he buttered and tried to get the ball back to our advantage (defensive pressure inside 50 they call it I believe) rather than dropping his head like he has in the past

Yes he made a few mistake but hey the bloke who some are saying was BOG (Jackson D) turned it over a few times as well so some balance wouldn't go astray....

Just thought he seemed alot more at ease out there and his game reflected that... absolutely no reason for him to not hold his place for next week

Not a bad thing. Good for the like of Reiwoldt / Morton, as it opens up the forward line.

your optimism is fantastic but gee he played one servicable game. thats one in 4 years, hardly ground breaking stuff.

Good on em for giving it a crack but he should be nowhere near our best 22.

In the first couple years of his carrer he was stick thin.

He got hurt in one game a couple years ago going hard at a 50/50 ball - and broke and arm just because he was a skinny boy getting smacked against a man.

Maybe not near our best XXII, but he should be next week. He has could be handy as a forward flanker. Tall, fast, agile and very rangy.

definately deserves another game, he actually shoild have had a couple of shots at goal rather than pass off....we are desperate for another forward to come on, MM is attracting a better qty defender and not having same impact...would be a great dimension if JON could start to kick a few ...Id even try him at FF ::)

Isn't he what, he really needs a KPP forward to come on to take the major defensive focus off him.  He is an important part of our forward line but shouldnt be the No 1 target.

Except he was okay at AFL level on the weekend, so how does that work? Even Wallace said in the press conference that he did the job he was given and that's all you can ask for, especially from a kid who's only played 6-7 games.
