If he was a bigger person he'd have put his personal situation aside, done what's best for the club & walked before now.
None of this crap that blew up would have come to a head.
He is only staying put because his reputation as a quitter precedes him but it's not healthy for him, the players or anyone else.

What about ur mate spud ?

Good man management by Wallace IMO.

Newman was at his best in the first half.

I don't think Newman is a great captain, but just like Johnson this is mostly because he is not an exceptional footballer. He has enough trouble worrying about his own game before he can worry about the team. Run of the mill players making effective captains are pretty scarce.

Regardless of what you think about his coaching TW has come out the bigger person here.
