AS BEN COUSINS SAYS, WINNING ISNT EVERYTHING,  IT IS THE ONLY THING!

Correct, Cuz is a very good judge  ;D

there is no doubt that the recruitment of Cuz has been a success! I hope we get another two years out him! Let him play along side Cotchin and Deledio and watch their improvement!

Cuz has been the big positive of the year for me so far. What he brings to the club is immeasurable in terms of leadership, example, outlook, mentoring, strategy and culture and that's before we start to talk about his onfield brilliance. I hope we keep him around for another couple of years as a player then as a development coach.

Edwards has really stepped up of late and has reclaimed the confidence in his own game and ability. Is exciting providing run off the half back with Blinger which allows Newman to move up to the wing to give us better inside 50 entry.

Polo is now a reliable small backman. Nahas is our answer to Davis, Davey and Milne all put together. Post will be an exciting lead up forward and Vickery a 200cm + midfielder.

A great deal of positives from the list but I left the ground with a hollow feeling watching the Melbourne supporters high five each other and excitedly share their relief that Jordy's kick went through. Just not right.  >:(

There was some interesting footage shown "on the couch" last night.

On a split screen they showed the reactions of the players/coaching box after Jordies goal.

While the players celebrated like they had just won a final....There was zero emotion shown by the coaching staff.

They probably felt like I did, totally flat after watching that game and trying to work out is that the true capability of our list.
