Before I start, I am guilty of bagging these guys.

I think these guys were scapegoats for a bunch of soft and individualistic senior players.

Like Rodan, these guys were extremely hard working, yet were singled out for our poor performances.

One was a rookie pick, one was redrafted late after we cut him. They were always going to be ranked in our 22nd to 30th players. They got the best from their ability, never complained about getting dropped, always worked their guts off in the VFL and get recalled, then get dropped again, when all along it should have been some of the 'better' players copping the stuff. I feel sorry for these guys now, playing footy for Richmond was a priviledge to them, not just a pay cheque.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have wanted Deledio dropped a couple of times this season, but have had some people say 'you can't drop Deledio'. It was another poor performance from him again tonight, he needs to be dropped this week. He's out of contract and i'd like him to stay, but he only deserves to be paid the same as what McMuffin gets. If he thinks he can get more somewhere else, i'd let him go into the pre-season draft and let him end up at the Demons, Kangaroos or over in the West.

If only he worked as hard as Tivs or Hyde....

And you may not think I care for you

you cant be serious when you say hes on the same level as McMahon or should be on the same level as mcmahon on the wage front. Deledios problem is that 95% of his teammates arent up to it and they are dragging him down to there level. Richmond needs to get rid of the hacks and the players who cant kick properly and get in some more midfielders who can kick the footy properly.

Are you serious wayne or are you taking the pee???

Hyde and Tivendale were good average toilers who, but the very fact that they played for such a lengthy period for our club, is a sad refelection on the lack of quality and depth we have possessed on our list for far too long. They were never good enough to be part of a finals side so needed to move aside for potential quality players. When 18/19 year olds are performing better than you when you are in your prime, then the writing is on the wall.

Hyde and Tivendale were loyal and great servants of the club but so is King, Petts, Cogs, Polak, JON and even Bowden. Should all of these be kept on the list too? Sooner or later you need to become professional and unemotive and make decisions based on realities rather than personalities.

Lids is still playing well despite being heavily tagged each week. If we did drop him then this attention would be turned to another player and we would loss someone who still remains one of our best desposes of the ball. He just needs more support breaking a tag or needs to be played off the half back or forward.

I am serious.

Yes they were good average toilers, who as I said were probably rated 22nd to 30th on our list. That's borderline selection in the side.

They give strong performance after strong performance in the VFL and when there time comes, they get a game and do a job, then go back into the VFL when a player returns to the seniors.

Hyde and Tivs were lowly draft selections. Petts was a pick 8, JON was a pick 8, we downgraded a first rounder for Polak (though he couldn't help what happened with the tram) and Cogs was also a 2nd rounder. They shouldn't be toilers, they should be the guys in the seniors keeping the Tivs and the Hydes on our list out.

I'm tired and going to bed, this probably hasn't made any sense.

Considering the game we seen tonight Wayne a lot of things dont make sense.

I dont want Lids at another club, I dont think we will get the currency for a number 1 pick that we need plus you dont get many chances at a No1 pick and for one to fail at your club would be a disaster.

Dropped? I dont know, something has to be done obviously as he is struggling.  I think HFF would be the best option but maybe give him the tagger role.

I loved Tiva and Hydey.

Lids needs to be dropped and told to play like a 22 year old and not a selfish, outside, 30 year old trying to maintain his place on the list.

Go back to Coburg for a week, maybe more if he doesn't perform or show that he is a professional footballer, get some form and confidence back, and come back and blitz for the Tigers.

If he thinks that he is too good for that then I guess its SEE YA LAYTA LIDS.

Number one draft pick means Jackshyzen. Playing football to the best of your ability is what counts.

And that's what the Tigers need, not a Number 1 draft pick with attitude....less than optimum attitude.

Two years ago Tivs and Hyde were part of a team that lost to Geelong by 157 points and lost the first 11 games of the season.

I think that puts things into perspective.

so was deledio but thats all history

facts are   deledio hates hard work, relies on natural ability with no effort

he needs to be dropped and told if u dont get dirty u dont play

in saying that, i reckon he wants out, he shows no desire to be at rfc, unlike others youngers like jack, rance, tambling etc

Just my perception, but seems to me Lids is just going through the motions. Not a good sign  :-\

so you want Lids to be dropped yet players like JOn get a gig for doing SFA at Coburg. WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE

Make no mistake a lot of players would have learnt a lot from Otto and Rodan leaving our farce of a club for bigger and better things.

we lose lids and we might as well pack it in and shut up shop.

Seriously given a right coach say Malthouse he could and will be a superstar. Not at our club though.

as many as 5 different positions over the last 3 years thanks to Wallet and it seems he too has had enough.

Wallet thinks he is not a centreman!! This coming from a guy who recruits fringe Buldogs, Port and Bombers players in the strongest draft in years.

AS I SAID PEOPLE TAKE WHATEVER THAT CAR SALES MAN SAYS WITH A GRAIN SALT BECAUSE HE KNOWS stuff ALL ABOUT COACHING AFL FOOTBALL.

WTF IS THAT CAMERON IDIOT DOING. SIGN HIM UP NOWWWW

You are a serious retardation of ... whatever you are?
Where have I said Lids should be dropped, he is by far from our worst! but capable of so much more. But alas we can not be fussy. If he was paying at Geelong or Saints it may be a different story and then again his level would probably be above and beyond what it is now.
In fairness to Lids also is that at Richmond he probably cops the No1 tag whereas at a top 8 club he would get someone down the list.
Anyway back to you boy, you try to be sooooo clever without realising how much of fool you it makes you look. Seriously man Grow TF up.
Sorry Guys I usually ignore the fools and this will be the first and last time I respond to any sensless rants this moron spews forth.
Fire away numbnuts! you wont get a response ...... :clapping

We don't seem to have any players that are capable of kicking running goals from 40-50m out, both Tiv and Hyde could do that, in fact Hyde was a dead eye idiot from inside 50, obviously though Richmond has already got enough players with polished kicking skills, such as Jordan McMahon.

I know it's only the Ovens and Murray but Hydey kicked 5 on the weekend.

is it possible the whole side wants out?? they all look disinterested. Wow Delidio, i mean a few years ago he was the saviour and now its trade talk and playing in the vfl. I really hope he stays another year under a different coach and can only hope that he gels and exploads like we all know he can and should. There is a freaking winning side on that list i am sure of it. Just a matter of getting them to work together and be confident.
