Most of them looked like they had been on the pipe before they ran out.

Can we get a decent Ruck coach - I know Vickers is just learning, but the last 3-4 weeks his timing is just totally out of whack and hasn't improved at all.

Give Browne a run may as well, nothing to lose.

Jack needs to go back to Coburg.

What a miserable game ....... Pies next week could be ugly  :banghead

As much as I usually think Tim Watson is a moron, he was right today with his comment about our midfield setup. It was unbalanced, we needed more inside contested ball winners against Sydney. They are a team who's game plan is designed around winning the stoppages, had no one to contest the inside ball. Players like Tuck & Cogs are needed for a game against Sydney.
Tuck may have been dropped for not playing by team rules, well from what I can see, there weren't many playing today who stuck to the team rules. I guess that means the whole side needs to be dropped for next week.

Next week you will want Bowden to help hahaha

The sad thing is the board was probably wanting to give Rawlings the job. Rawlings cant do this job. The Richmond job needs a dictator to get the crap out of the playing list, get rid of the fitness staff and whoever else cant help improve the club. Its a job for someone like Damien Hardwick.

as i said earlier Ramps to be honest i am glad we lost today just so the RFC got a good reality check in that Jade's is not our man.

anyone with half a brain knows he aint our man and those MEANINGLESS wins were exactly that, MEANINGLESS!!!

i know once we played a descent team we would get found out. I judge our performance on todays opponents not those other hacks were just beat

Culture has to change firstly.
We just can't beat teams like the Swans Adelaide and St Kilda.
3 wins in total against these 3 clubs since 2003 with 1 the basketball game in 06(Adelaide)  the other a rd 4 Easter Monday 2003 win half a season before the Saints emerged as a lrgitimate threat and a 1 point win against Sydney in 2005 almost giving away a 34 point half time lead. Very damning statistics.
All 3 play a hard tackling tight checking pressure game and we get exposed horrifically when we play them as our personnel just do not have the skill and mental capacity to overcome this. Supplement this by Jade getting outcoached and we are nowhere.

Today was an advertisement to the board and this so called process to hurry it up and offer terms and conditions of contract to Damien Hardwick who will immediately start working on these aforementioned deficiencies.

the problem with the RFC is with our list and these little skinny pricks that roll around in the yellow and black.

Been saying it for years Edwards and Mcmlovin are not our future. get rid of them. King at least has guts and tries, something the rest of them might want to copy from time to time.

Anyone see Edwards get knocked down in the centre square with a nice bump from a sydney player. Well thats something i have NEVER seen our players do.

we are not only weak in the head but we are physically weak. Useless in fact.

Saints laid nearly 60 tackles yesterday in the first half with 7 of the best out. How many did we lay today??

We got smashed in the ruck. Jolly and Pyke :P were feeding their mids all day. They starved us of the ball. Then even when we got hold of the footy we turned it over and the Swans punished us on every mistake. Roos made sure the Swannies targetted our running players so we were ineffective with our run and our delivery to our forwards was poor. Blingers getting caught 4 times was an example of that pressure although there seemed to be one holding the ball rule for some and not for others out there ::). The umps were a pathetic joke as much as we were.

Yep we got outmuscled and outmarked all day. You can blame some on that on youth but we also had too many lightweight 5' 11" types in the one side.
