He did attempt what would be loosely called a fight with Hislop while Hislop was on the deck, but Hislop managed to stand up, and then promptly threw Maxwell to the ground and held him down well until it seemed Maxwell surrended.  ;D   The big tough man lauded by the media got absolutely pantsed by Tommy.

Maxwell's a effin woman, he was whinging like a little girl "oh we couldn't fight back, it wasn't fair" Maxwell you wouldn't have been able to fight back anyway your a effing women.

Yes I saw that. Maxwell only likes to hit young rookies when there not looking. He couldn't handle Hislop because he actually was going to have to confront someone. Well done Thomo.

The comments were fairly accurate, but very hypocritical coming from a weak sniper like Maxwell who has made a career out of whacking blokes when they're not looking.

What was your excuse for not fighting back tonight Nick.... hmmm 73 points wasn't it. Come back and give us a lecture on footy when your pathetic overbloated self-obsessed overrated football club actual wins something  :wallywink.

Btw Happy 50th Anniversary of nothingness 1959-2009  :lol

Just full of inspiration and courage Nicky boy is.
If I was not just an AFL player but the captain of "The Greatest Club In the Land" and I got run down from behind by Tom Hawkins who kicks a goal from the resulting free I would be retiring as of tonight and I would be taking up quoits.

All Australian Stuff right there. :lol

As for their other all Australian. Downhill skier, flat track bully whatever. Oh yes against a RFC side that was not trying I can shake the finger when I kick a goal but have I ever played a final where I have got 15 possessions. I know I have played two grand finals for an average of 3 posessions. If he is a star then Tambling is Polly Farmer, Michael Long and Maurice Rioli rolled into one. Gotta love the Pies (not), also manage to cheer me up in September.  :ROTFL

And what about Eddie sulking and unresponsive to the fans tonight. No hugging his kids or high fiving the fans.  :nopity

Collingwood just haven't been the same side since those comments.
Is it a coincidence or is it just that we are in September? Is it a combination of both?
Is it justice being served by the Football Gods or just the fact that Collingwood are poo?
:ROTFL :jump :stupid :nopity :thatsgold :chuck  :lol :rollin :wallywink ;D :D ;) :) :-X

I to seen the Thomo incedent and love how he backs away once push comes to shove.
And I wondered just who he was when he got picked for their captain to.
Now I know  gutless no name player.

Best part is Collingwood is stranded, they cant win a flag with there current list, they have poor picks this year and GC coming in. Atleast another decade of waiting for Collingwood IMHO.
