How would he be throwing out team balance? He would be replacing markov in defence. Are you really trying to tell me markov is more valuable than Dave astbury???

In 2017 we played Rance, astbury, grimes, broad, vlas, Houli and Ellis. So if anything were playing shorter than that year given you’re replacing Rance with balta, Ellis with short and broad with baker.

Cmon dude, I shouldn’t have to explain why replacing a big slow key defender with a quick rebounding player could potentially impact the balance of a backline that is currently functioning very well....

You may not necessarily agree but the logic is pretty clear I would have thought.

Think we have plenty of run with baker, short and Houli. Wouldn’t mind another big body to help out balta so grimes can either lock down the most dangerous small or play loose.

I’d rest the captain and grimes.
No point testing those hammy’s with a trip to SA against the wooden spooner.

That allows Astbury to come back, I’d also leave Markov in - while the back 6 is settled I’m a little worried Bachar is still is little below his best and Markov gives us good running support across the back 50.
I reckon that Caddy is the perfect replacement for Lynch, he’s a nice mark and a lovely kick for goal and can give Jack the chop out he’ll need as the sole key forward. Chol can also pinch hit in the f50z

So, for me:-
Ins
Astbury, Shedda, Chol, Caddy
Outs
Cotchin, Grimes (both rested), Soldo, Lynch

Problem I see with resting is that it will mean going into the first final they wouldn't have played for perhaps a fortnight.

Not sure that is what they need

Adelaide are in form as I write this they are giving the blues a right old seeing too. Its like 40 to 9. We need to be careful we dont blow it. Players have to be switched on and put the crows away early.

Don't worry they will throw it vs us.

They will be mere % below North and don't want to lose pick 1.

If they beat us then North will throw their final game to get P1.

So the crows will make a sure thing of it and bend the knee to us.
