For him but man when he was back on the park he really dominated

https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/richmond-confirm-defender-dylan-grimes-sidelined-for-at-least-12-weeks-with-serious-hamstring-injury/news-story/5d4b01788dfe7cc54f8ee8d3503b47b4

Did people actually read the article?

Yes it's dated 2022 but..

It quotes Matt Hornsby who hasn't been at the Club for over 6 years

Mentions we are also without Will Thursfield for a number of weeks

Same injury and surgery that Nick Riewoldt had recently  :o

Think Foxsports haven't a clue and have dredged up an article from 10 years ago  ::)

Well you know the coaches are stuffed in the head if they move Balta back again and play Soldo as 3rd tall resting.

The news is less positive for hamstrung co-captain Dylan Grimes, who was subbed out of the Tigers' loss to St Kilda and is expected to miss 2-4 weeks with a "hopefully stock-standard" injury.

“We’ll be relatively conservative with Dylan ... we’ll take our time with it, and make sure we get it right," said Hardwick.

What makes the 200-game milestone for Grimes even more meritorious is the hardship he endured early in his AFL career.

Grimes, who was Richmond’s first pick (No. 2 overall) in the AFL pre-season draft at the end of 2009, made his senior debut with the Tigers in the final home-and-away round of the 2010 season against Port Adelaide at Marvel Stadium.

For the next three years, however, he was plagued with injuries, predominantly hamstring trouble.

From 2011-13, Grimes managed to play just 25 out of a possible 67 senior games for Richmond.

Eventually he was able to overcome his hamstring issues and become the Scarlett-like star defender McCartney predicted he would be.

I remember seeing him ping his hammy live for the second or third time and thinking gee it's a shame he can really play but he seems doomed.

Such a wonderful thing that he's gone on to have an amazing career with flags, AA, captaincy etc. Very happy for him.

Not soft! What a legend this guy is. Too many highlights to name but him living rent free in Charlie Cameron’s head during our dynasty is up there
