Castagna - Improved set-shot goalkicking

“It’s something he’s worked on a lot and he’s improving it. I think with anything, the more you put in, the more chance you’ll have on game day. So he’s doing a good job with that.”

Beast!

How can you not love Georgie!

Hardworking tackling machine than can also do the flashy stuff.

You definitely get the ups and downs with him but I don’t think anyone can ever question his effort and I can cop that.

Was very good last week :clapping frustrating player due to his skills or lack there of during games. Gives his all each week but will continue to frustrate me.

He has great hands for his size and his tackles stick.

I understand your frustrations as I too get frustrated when he misses gettable goals, BUT his good far outweighs his bad. By a long way IMO considering the roll he plays.

We have some awesome kids.

Indicates to me Butler and/or Bolton won't be here next year..... :shh

Why can’t we keep Bolton? Playing seniors at the Richmond football club is pretty awesome I’m not sure why you’d want to leave.
The club that keeps giving.

I wouldn’t get too worried.  :shh
He isn’t going anywhere.

Not so sure about Butler though.

Baker looks to have a lot of upside IMO. His decision making is that of a new player, and once he gets that down, he'll leave the other two well behind I suspect.

George is a very good tackler. He is one of the best front on tacklers in the league I reckon. He sticks them, and it isn't something a lot of players are that good at.

I think both Baker and Castagna could also run through the midfield if we needed them to, and while not being superstars they could make a contest. I don't think Butler can do that, certainly not at the moment anyway.

Butler just doesn't look the goods compared to these two.

It’s funny becaus3 late in 2018 it looked like we desperately needed butlers polish to match castagnas grunt. But so far in 2019 butlers been a bit of a liability. I guess with Maurice Rioli Jr looming as a likely pick up do we really need to keep all of castagna, Baker, Rioli , butler and higgins?
