Random question. How much or mrj’s improvement do you think is because he’s playing under Yze?

None

And if he was worse, my answer would be the same

That's a load of crap Yze had a big role in Rioli , Brown and Miller ,Campbell. Good coaching for me.

Thats the minimum he should be dishing up every week.

Gotta laugh at peoples perceptions. I reckon in three games he has been horrible. Even in this game he continues to butcher the ball and go missing for big chunks of games.

If he can lay four or five  tackles kick one or two goals each week and use the bloody ball better, then he will earn his spot.
Cuerrently i dont all that much difference to what he has offered in the past.

If you can't see his improvement, you're beyond help.

WILL A RIOLI DUO STAY TRUE TO TIGERLAND?

Intrigue continues to surround the whereabouts of Maurice Rioli Jnr and his nephew Daniel Rioli beyond 2024.

Daniel has been linked to the Gold Coast Suns lately, sparking discussion that his decision may impact where Maurice plays in 2025, given their tight relationship.

Herald Sun journalist Lauren Wood spoke on the duo’s status at Richmond, with interest around Maurice’s intentions set to be amplified given the long-term syndesmosis injury he suffered late last Saturday night against the Western Bulldogs.

“My understanding is that those talks had kicked far enough down the road that something like this isn’t going to hamper him (being offered an extension),” Wood said.

Co-panellist Jay Clark then questioned if Maurice would stay, noting that his loyalty to Richmond may be put into jeopardy if Daniel Rioli moved up to Gold Coast.

“I’ve got no doubt that the Suns are going to go after Daniel Rioli, so does that put any doubt in Maurice’s mind?” Clark asked.

“I think it puts doubt in my mind as to whether Daniel would go… they’re an incredibly tight unit, coming down from the Tiwi Islands together,” Wood replied.

“I know the Suns are really going to come hard for Daniel, but that family connection means so much to them that Maurice looking like he’s going to extend at Tigerland, does he maybe get a little bit of a word in (to) his nephew Daniel.”

Daniel Rioli is interestingly contracted at the Tigers until 2027, while Maurice’s contract expires at the end of this year.
