I'm actually really happy they kept Grimes.

I thought he'd be dropped before Astbury because he may have taken precedence in development.

I was wrong and they picked the player that has had the better form.

Well done RFC.

Brad Helbig stiff. Might be for a rest and some decent game time. (This is why the sub rule is garbage, the guy hasn't played more than a half of football yet lol)

You'd expect straight like-for-like swaps based on the outs.

Helbig ----> Connors
Astbury ----> McGuane
Thursty -----> Rance

Helbig has been the sub for a few games this year so probably needs to get a full game under his belt and Astbury was struggling (off his feet last week). Hopefully they both go back to Coburg and put in a couple of good games to get them back into the seniors.

No Postie on the extended bench so the coaches obviously want him to back up that form again.

Some good changes. I agree Astbury needs a run in the  twos and can come back in a month. Helbig needs game time - he'll go back and work on some things and come back again at some stage this year.

 i  have a feeling Dea will come in this week. Dea was playing as a tight marking defender last week, maybe a chance to mark one of norths dangerous smalls?

hoping that it's Tuck that comes in instead of Connors.

Surely this has to be his last one. Shouldn't even have played last week.
Push up!

Staggering decision to be honest

4 rounds in 2011 and has been poor in 3 games (average in the other only be casue he was the sub ;D)

Sends a poor message I reckon

The cynic in me says all coaches have their favourites  ;D

More than he should have. Maybe we are trying to maintain some trade value  :whistle.

Not saying Connors is the answer but there's no room for Tucky in the side with Dusty and Jacko ahead of him on the inside. Tucky lacks polish as well. To be a modern midfielder you've got to be more than just get it and bomb it blindy forward. Tucky also gets burnt on the opposition spread.

Can I presume your talking Miller? If so we'll see.

I'll be happy if he does don't get me wrong, would be a massive effort for him though and only against a very average team at best.

Edwards still in  :banghead :banghead
Surely it must be his last chance.
I think Miller will stay in. Give's us another forward target and helps out Jack
