[wishful thinking] Yes please, Mitchell to Tigerland. [/wishful thinking]

[reality] He won't choose to come to us, no matter how much we are keen on getting him and even beg publicly. It'll be a similar scenario to Treloar if we try to chase Mitchell. [/reality]

So we shouldn't try?

If the club decided on that attitude we would never get anyone :)

Stevo hinted he may be linked to Tigers after tonights game.

motlop as well, I don't mind Motlop but in reality we don't need another player who goes missing.

That's what I call a sideways trade. A trade that is still worthy of consideration just to get Edwards out of our club

Tom Mitchell for Edwards would be a win ...

Damian Barrett has suggested that Daniel Wells has received a number of contract offers - with the most substantial coming from Collingwood. It is believed that it is worth $600,000 a year for three years.

Carlton are interested in bringing Rhys Palmer to the club. SOS is said to "rate his leadership".

Freo have "asked the question" re; Jack Darling. JD said to be shaken up post-final but has said privately he wants to stay.

Told interest has intensified around Swan Sam Reid. Hawthorn are in hot pursuit, having made contact with his MGMT.

Reports suggest GWS's Jarrod Pickett toured Ikon Park (Carlton's training facilities) this morning.

Hawthorn apparently into everyone. If true though, surely they don't want Reid and Vickery?

After watching last nights game, especially the first half, I'd throw the kitchen sink at Mitchell.
He should be our number 1 target.
He is twice the player Prestia is IMO

Wouldnt surprise if theyve done it in answer to the rumours of us matching the vickery offer to force them to trade - ie "stuff you richmond, we'll just go for someone else"

100%. Anyone is understands the game would agree with this.

He is a Sam Mitchell No 2. So incredibly gifted with his hands and unlike edwards isn't afraid  get in the packs and get his hands dirty.

Prestia is still a great get though, lets not overlook this (so long as we get the deal done).

Pick 6 for Tom Mitchell feels like a decent trade, just have to get Balmy to convince the young fella to put on the yellow and black next year.

Give him a 5 year contract with the promise Dimma won't be there for 4 of them.
