Aussies are finally on the board with a comfortable win over Sri Lanka. At least we didn't do an England  :lol.

SL 209 all out ..... Zampa 4/47 (8), Cummins 2/32 (7), Starc 2/43 (10), Maxwell 1/36 (9.3)

Aussies 5/215 in 35.2 overs ..... Inglis 58, Marsh 52, Labuschagne 40, Maxwell 31*, Stoinis 20*.

The Aussies knocked off Pakistan.

Our innings was weird though. Warner (dropped on 10) and Marsh racked up an opening partnership of 259 before we lost 9/104.

Aussies 9/367 ..... Warner 163, Marsh 121, Stoinis 21.

Pakistan 305 ..... Zampa 4/53, Stoinis 2/40, Cummins 2/62, Hazlewood 1/37, Starc, 1/65.


We've now jumped up to 4th and will stay there if South Africa beat England tonight.

Next up for us is Holland.

South Africa is in scarily amazing form with the bat. Took the Pommie bowlers to the cleaners. Scored 112 runs just off the last 7 overs  :o. The question is have they peaked too early and will they choke again when it gets to semis?

That century by Maxwell was insane  :o. A World Cup record off just 40 balls. He only came into bat in the 39th over as well.

Aussies 8/399 by the way. Warner also got another century.
