What a win.

Was looking dire more than once. India started hot but the bowlers really tightened the noose. I was perplexed at the decision to bowl but it may have been a masterstroke.

Started a bit shaky with the bat and I fell asleep at 80/3 but kept waking up overnight with kayo on my phone to get some sleepy updates. Managed to wake up at Head on 97 to see his century which was great timing.

Thought Warner threw his wicket away, looked determined to chuck it and go cheaply. Marsh and Smith a little unlucky but otherwise very solid from Head and Lasagnachange

“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

I don't know who Tarvis Head is, but he must be elated to get headlines when some unknown cricketer makes a few runs ...     :lol

Apparently, an Indian company gave its workforce the Monday off as a "day of mourning" after India's World Cup final loss.

"I am still coming to grips with the loss," one X user suggested of a structural change. Better to have the best of 3 finals like the Australian tri-series. One bad day cannot take the shine off the best side!"
