Interesting Jack was on Channel 7 last night on Sat Night Footy at Etihad before the Dogs Cats Clash.
Was asked if he was staying around to watch the game as you have Cats next week.
He said no, going to have dinner with my girlfriend.
I would of thought he would have stayed and watched for next week seeing he was there.
Interesting by a professional footballer I would of thought'
Take you girl out for dinner another night I would of thought, seeing you were already at the venue

I know I would've stayed. That is a bit strange.
Maybe they get so much information and dissecting of the opposition during the week it doesn't matter if they stay or not.
The club that keeps giving.

Possibly Jack and I agree with you and others, however in Jack's defence we do not know the circumstances and urgency of him making his appearance on 7 and then leaving with him giving the reason or excuse he is having dinner with his girlfriend.
Maybe just maybe if he had kicked 5 on Friday night we may not have been so critical.
Also some people may just recoup better away from footy especially after a loss like that.
It's only natural they are professionals and they eat sleep and skata footy all week. You need some relief at some stage. Maybe just maybe we can all cut him some slack on this one rather than looking for excuses. Ultimately he is entitled to see his girlfriend he was in Perth th night before. You all see your partners every day don't you? I know I do.

I'd just leave it at that.

I thought he was ineffective but didnt think he was terrible or bad per se. He tried hard just got pantsed by the best backman going around and lets face it for the 2nd and 3rd qrts there were 13 inside 50's for us. No fwd is going to do anything with those numbers
gotta agree with this he just got toweled up by a player who regularly towels up forwards. he worked and tried damn hard imo but he wasnt good enough.
people  talk up alex rance they should have a look at how mcpharlin goes about his business he was superb. his effort imo should have had him bog but hey kpps just dont get votes nowdays.

Biggest troll effort of the month to Jackstar, what he does in his own time is his own business, footballers thes days spend more time than ever being a professional footballer and surely their family/friends are entitled to their time as well.

What about if it was a special date for them, what about if he had been promising a dinner for a while but hadn't been able to make it due to footy, what about if he just felt the need to roll the leg over and she was holding out based on a dinner date first.

firstly Chuck :chuck
He was at the ground anyway ::)
Secondly I go to as many games as I can on a weekend
and its amazing what opposition players go to a game when there not playing
Thirdly its funny that you see lots of Geelong and Collingwood players at alot of games
Funny that they play finals in recent times .
They would be going to study the opposition and try and improve there game the following week.
Footy aint hard
Hope he enjoyed his dinner
