If Essendon are stripped of points I would rest him next week. Wasn't moving freely IMHO. If we are any chance in the finals we need his creativity and skills at full strength. Was more petchelent than normal today. May have been frustrated with his knee?!???

The knee is a crock IMO. At the start of the week he apparently had bone bruising and was to miss 2+ weeks. Took the strapping off after the first quarter and while wasn't 100% he still competed. He'll train lightly and take the best defender again next week and we'll just have to try and score via other avenues like we did today.

Bone bruising hurts. Playing on it doesn't really make it worse. May as well play, keep the fitness up.

57 goals and 26 assists which places him at 83 goals he's been directly involved in. Roughead at 64 goals and 17 assists is second I believe.
