Unless he is really home sick then I can’t see him leaving at the end of the season. If its money related  then he’d be losing more money leaving at the end of this year and giving up his free agency rights in 2-3 years time where he can really drive up his salary.

Better than Saad, Williams (Carlton) Hill (StK) who are on about $800k.

Most here know im never one to jump on the high praise band wagon for blokes who are fairly early in their careers.
Kid is fantastic and is getting better each year. I hate going early cause i like a large body of work,  but i reckon if he is not already he will be an A grader.

Size and shape wise a lot like Edwards and in a lot of other ways as well. Think he is potentially a pretty decent upgrade on shane as well.

Jon Ralph on Fox Footy after the game said Bolton is worth $800k but Richmond can't afford that.

Nick Riewoldt agreed Shai was worth $800k but sees him as a Richmond man and reckons he will stay.

You’d hope he’d take a little less to stay at current challenging club. Like something in the realms of 600k for 2 years before he becomes a free agent. If you were giving him 800k you’d hope it would be on a long term 4-5 year deal which takes him past free agency.
