Favourite Tiger thing(s) you have
« on: November 12, 2005, 03:39:19 PM »
What's your favourite or most precious Richmond thing you have?

I don't mean most expensive but something that you would unlikely give away or has some sentimental value to it.

Mine's an old plush toy I was given when I was a kid by a Richmond trainer I knew in the 80's who sadly passed away about 15 years ago.

I was there too MJS - 2nd level Northern Stand - half forward - front row  :thumbsup

Favourite things - Personally signed photo of Jack Dyer (mounted, framed and certificate of authenticity).  Being a scrooge, would sell it to the highest bidder lol.  But that's my favourite thing

One is my Jack Dyer memorabilia piece that I bought on E-Bay it is pretty special

I have 2 of the special match day jumpers from the Jack Dyer tribute game in 2003 (the game after his funeral where we played the Hawks) - you know the ones where they had 17 embroided on the yellow sash - one is Leon Cameron's - must get it framed

I have alot of other stuff that would probably seem pretty lame but mean alot to me :thumbsup

My Tigers hat (not a beany, not a cap, more like an engine drivers hat I think) dad bought me in 73 or 74. Still wear it today.

Also a KB cartoon given to me by KB in about 1980/81 - with a personal best wishes note and signed by KB.

The RFC scarf Royce Hart gave to me at a junior clinic in the mid-70's.

Have worn it to every game I have been to and have never washed it !

Framed Weg poster from KB's 400th, it is also signed by KB.

Yep got one of those also - wouldn't sell tho.

My favourite thing WOULD of been the stubby holder I got personally signed by Jack Dyer at the Save our Skins day at the MCG. But alas I got quite Inebriated that day and lost it, I think on the train on the way home. damn ... :cheers

I have a 40 year old stuffed bear which is actually a Tiger which used to be my Nanna's before she past away almost 30 years ago its about 80cm tall, it is currently wearing an old duffle coat I used to wear to matches back as a 7 year year old in 1982 with the likes of Roachy, Jess, Rioli and Co on the the sleaves and pockets. I have a huge transfer print of a Tiger on the back with "Carn the Tigers" underneath.
