If Trent Cotchin doesn't win the brownlow this year, he has planted the seeds to win it in 2013. A lot of people believe that you earn one over a couple of seasons and the last 3 winners of the Brownlow show this, all 3 of them won it the year after they should have!

Cotchin should win because unlike Judd and previous winners - he is a total ball player and does not react to taggers. He does not get involved in crap - he is just a total ball winner. In many regards he fits the actual term "best and fairest".

The only time I have ever seen him react is with Andrew Raines - and hopefully the umps wont count that against him!

However knowing he is being judged by umpires - "ie idiots with whisltles" means he will get nothing!

I think he may of just scraped in with 1 vote last night, 2 to Deledio and 3 to Tuck..IMO.

Off night for the champ for mine especially the first half even though he finished with 30-odd possies. I think kicking something like 6 points will cost him any Brownlow votes. Maybe the Brownlow talk got to him a little bit. Watson did stuff all after 1/4 time mind you.

Very poor blaming the wind for his efforts at goal.

Back to Coburg for a week I say to learn some things.

I think Deledio will get the 3 from the umpires, the positive for Cotch is that Tuck is not often credited as having played really super games so he may miss out altogether on Brownlow votes if, Cotch got alot of the ball especially in the last quarter, I think on Brownlow night it will go 3 Deledio 2 Cotchin 1 Tuck.
