Cost us the game

Simple as that

The one in last, where he had Cumberland open...that miss Cost us the game
"Oh yes I am a dreamer, I still see us flying high!"

from the song "Don't Walk Away" by Pat Benatar 1988 (Wide Awake In Dreamland)

Hardwick cost us the game when he picked castagna and aartz. We are playing 2 short when they play.

If I had to make a choice between Aarts and Castagna I’d take Aarts, that’s how crap Castagna is.

It’s embarrassing he’s a Richmond player.

Feeling philosophical this morning. I think it's time to send Jason to the back line. Try him as a small Defender behind the ball. He cannot stay on the list as a forward.

I get it, but I just can't imagine trusting Castagna to use the ball effectively by foot in our backline. Or by hand for that matter.

VFL back line. If the experiment works then good. Cannot play AFL defensive forward ever again. If he does I can almost predict that Richmond fans won't turn up in protest. The back line is his circuit breaker. Has to happen 100% for his own sake and well-being.

I am not mad at George- just a case of us moving past him which was highlighted last night. I will be angry at the coaching department if they continue to play him though. Blair has his work cut out to trade him out. Astonishing career nevertheless.

What a minute…

Let me see if I understand what your saying, you think Castagna should be playing in defence?

He has failed to hit a chest by hand or foot since he’s been playing for us, if he plays there the opposition would be getting the ball delivered to them on a silver platter.
If anyone thought his kicking was bad just watch every handball he executes and you’ll see that it rarely goes anywhere near a teammate and most often they lose momentum and have to contort their bodies to get the ball. It’s ridiculous.  :rollin

How this fellow got games let alone three premierships remains one of the cruel mysteries of the sporting world. Surely it had to be only his speed and agility and possibly tackling that made him even considered otherwise my comprehension is beyond even words can express. It’s truly unbelievable.
