Willing to cut him a bit of slack as he has been very good so far. Had his colours lowered but hopefully will bounce back against a GWS that will be breathing fire after a loss

Edit. Realised we have freo. Please cotch bounce back

Gees people round here are quick to jump on Cotch. Was a bit quieter than previous weeks but 11 CP's whilst going at 92% DE is pretty solid. For what it's worth was our highest champion data scorer from the game as well.

Also had eight tackles and our next closest was four.

Surely that will tell something even to the thickest people.

Agreed being captain must be tough. Is he supposed to be best on ground every game? Hodge ( when captain )Joel Selwood, Travis boak, Callan ward. Bob Murphy.. list goes on.. certainly aren't.

Well the way some people carry on that is exactly what is expected

The good thing is that Dimma will still love him
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Was a bit quieter than usual but seemed to be going head to head with Libya who was quiet. Did what you want your good players to do when they're having a quiet day - ie tackle hard, do the 1%ers well and make sure opponent doesn't influence the game. Cut him some slack

Maybe if his dopey coach hadn't sat with his thumb up his arse all match as usual he might've stood a better chance...

He wasn't head to head with just Libba, when in the middle matched up against Bont, Libba and mostly McRae. Swapping with Martin when up forward then Murphy took him most of the time.
I think he was just off his game caught out of position and under the ball for most of it. Played as loose man in defence late in the game too.
Just had a crap game / maybe he's got the flu.
The club that keeps giving.

Player ratings - Moving up

TRENT COTCHIN
2015 pre-season: 70
Now: 32

The Tigers skipper has been maligned at times but he is back to playing some of the best footy of his career. Despite posting two fewer disposals per game than he did in 2014-15, he is averaging close to 100m more per game. Meanwhile, his tackle numbers have also lifted by 3.3 in that time.

IMO opinion one of the players who suffered the most from the previous gameplan
