It's taken a long time but the most pleasing thing from Chol is he is now using his size & athleticism to smash contests and the stay involved to back up with second efforts.

Splitting hairs....both spectacular high leaping rucks who tackle hard, are good around the ground and can play forward...once Chol builds enough core strength , improves his contested marking and ruck craft, he'll have the same impact on the game and the side.... :shh :shh

He does have one thing in common with NicNat- doesn’t take many catches.

Not splitting hair Dio.. There would be 15+kg difference in weight and they go about it very differently

Another very average game.

How is it possible to play the second ruck/forward roll at AFL level and not be able to mark the footy??

He is good for a highlight every 3 weeks but that is about it.

Hurry back Nank and CCJ please.

Chol's goals

After unwittingly being at the centre of the Tigers' groping issue that surfaced late in the week, Richmond forward Mabior Chol was important in attack. The much-improved goalkicker booted two important goals in the third term to help edge his side ahead and give it a chance at nabbing the win. Those goals followed an incredibly athletic effort in the first half which saw Chol set up one of Riewoldt's three majors. In a short space of time Chol has become a key part of Richmond's jigsaw with his marking strength and agility for a tall option, giving opposition backmen headaches.

I thought he was sensational

To come out the way he did under the pressure he was under (pressure not of his making TBBH) and play as well as he did speaks volumes of his character

Well done Marbs  :clapping :clapping

Agreed- he was great last night. When he sticks those marking attempts, and doesn't drift in and out of games like he currently does, he could be a very handy player.
