Chol is developing. Some people who criticise his performance cant see the forest from the trees. Like horses with blinkers on. Chol is more talented than some of our players including Egg, George, Pickett and a few others.

How did we see Chol’s game tonight?

Plenty said about Soldo but at least he has a go.

Not enough.

Either needs a rest or a rocket up the backside.

Very poor tonight

Soldo was average

If Nank is good to go, them they both go out

Has been woeful last 2 weeks.  No intensity or attack on the ball.

Chol very quiet indeed. Should be dropped.

Almost as quiet as you are on George...

I thought George was ok. He is obviously playing higher up the ground than previous years so he isn’t kicking as many goals, and like most of the small forwards, he is struggling for form.
But he is far from being dropped IMO.

I probably talk about George enough so I didn’t think I needed to again but obviously you did, so here you go.

What about you Willy, did anything offend you tonight?

Yes, I was offended by our forward 50 entries.

So George is struggling for form, yet far from being dropped?...

Interesting take.

Do you think George will get dropped this week?
What I find interesting is the coaches don’t seem to have the same opinion as some on here.
I’m especially interested in your thoughts now.

And I agree with you, the forward entries were terrible.

As bad as Soldo is and was last night I can honestly say I noticed Soldo actually took a couple of marks.

Chol on the other hand did absolutely nothing with the 66 minutes he was on field except that easy goal.

How can such a large imposing unit with a leap Soldo can only dream of, play a whole game and not impact in the air?
He doesn’t utilise his strengths. His leaps are mostly mistimed, and he does not have the endurance to punch out a full game.

Two very poor weeks from chol and practically non existent performances from a team perspective.
The club that keeps giving.

I think he was slightly better than in recent weeks but still had very little impact on the game.

He really hasn’t had much positive influence all year IMO.

So yes, I think he is very much in contention for being dropped.

Just because the coaches haven’t dropped him yet does not mean he isn’t close.

I would drop both him and Chol for Nank and Higgins/Caddy, personally.

If they’re happy to have dropped Rioli and Higgins earlier this season then they should be ready to give Georgie boy a spell.
There’s plenty of options to replace him with Higgo leading the charge
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.
