They have been injected with possible; cancer causing , future deformed children producing PED

The contract is invalid. (Regardless of what tense you pedantically sorrowful types use).

There is a possibility the sky will turn green tomorrow too , a hypothetical future state. Doesn't mean it's a realistic scenario.

And yet if Essendon want to play hard ball, they can say they never forced anyone to take any of this. It was up to every individual player to decide what went into their body. Players like Zaharakis decided not to take the injections and were not punished…..
There is also no evidence that these drugs cause cancer. The onus is on the player to prove that they do.

The contract says he has to be in a safe work place. Regardless of "never forcing anyone"

Ask WPs legal-eagles

A class action lawsuit claims the parties behind the anti-aging pill TA-65 are pushing the non-prescription drug on consumers with bogus claims about its effectiveness and safety, and hides the fact that it can cause tumors and cancer in people who use

The Defendants also failed to warn the public that opinions have been expressed in the scientific community that a year of continuous telomerase activation – such as through using TA-65 – could allow pre-malignant lesions in the human body to expand into larger tumors that then could mutate into fatal malignancies on their own, even after the drug is no longer taken

Didn't the rugby kid dank got his hands on die

Richmond can get hurley free. No draft picks. That is the point.

The rugby league player - Jon Mannah -  that died had fought and beaten cancer and got the all clear to return to playing football.

However the disease returned and was aggressive and he couldn't beat it this time.

There were newspaper reports linking his death to the peptides given to the Cronulla players. Dank sued the paper stating that Mannah did not partake in the peptide program as he refused due to his health concerns.

But Stalin found an article in the deep obscurity of the internet that had a photo and phony quote and everything. Surely it was telling the truth?

After the AFL tribunal found the Essendon 34 not guilty, the AFL's own CEO had this to say:

"Given the evidence the AFL collected, the ASADA interim report and Essendon's own report, it was clear breaches of the AFL's rules had occurred.

"The Essendon Football Club in 2013 accepted that it had engaged in practices that exposed players to risks to their health and safety as well as the unacceptable risk of using substances that were prohibited by the AFL anti-doping code and the world anti-doping code." McLachlan said he felt for the players but stopped short of suggesting they deserved an apology.

Secret report finds Essendon's drugs record-keeping was 'deplorable'

Its all up to Hurley.
The possibility of physical and mental collapse is now very real. No sympathy for the Devil, keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

Could allow implies there is a strong possibility the contract would remain valid.

99% the contract will be proven void

Most of you simpletons understand this deep down yet being disingenuous for the sake of floggery

Are you forgetting or ignoring the fact that Hurley has to decide? You're basing our stats all on if he decides he wants to leave

Height: 1.75 m
Weight: 82 kg

Is not worth pick 6 in fact he wouldn't make a top 10 pick. He is a risk with his knee problems & we dont need a midfielder of that small size. We need a taller strong hip good mid to allow players first go at the ball. You have to also have the ruckman to be able to tap it too your players  :snidegrin. Prestia is too small & too lite it would be like having another Miles out there or another Titch  :lol

I'd have a midfield full of Miles' before a team full of Grigg's. Big bodies are good and all but give me talent before size. Oh, and I wouldn't say he has "knee problems"

Prestia...

Suns expect Dion Prestia to leave

Andrew Hamilton, Jeremy Pierce,
The Courier-Mail
15 August 8:00pm

GOLD Coast are planning for life after Dion Prestia.

The Suns are still to receive official word from Prestia about his intentions next year but insiders have told The Courier-Mail that the midfielder has told teammates he is leaving.

Richmond is his preferred destination.

Senior officials are resigned to losing the ninth pick from the 2010 draft but say they won’t lose hope until he or his manager makes it official.

The emergence of Touk Miler as a bona fide midfielder would soften the blow if Prestia did decide to walk out after six seasons.

While they accept he is exploring his options and has probably had contact with rival clubs, Gold Coast officials believe he would still weigh up a future elsewhere against one at a full strength Suns side next year before making a final decision.

Richmond’s future certainly looks no brighter than the Suns and the tenure of coach Damian Hardwick remains up in the air.

Football manager Marcus Ashcroft said the club had heard the speculation about Prestia but remained in the dark.

“All we can go on is what we have been told and that is he has not made a decision,’’ Ashcroft said.

Too slow...

Just posted the link in the trade thread! ;D

One-up on one-eyed!

Looking ever-the-more likely. I'm happy. Can we get it done without forfeiting our first-rounder is the big question?

We need to trade in more picks.

Can land Prestia and keep our 1st rounder if we are daring enough at the trade table.

Out: Deledio, Third Rounder, GWS First Rounder
In: Prestia, GWS First rounder, GWS Second Rounder

(GWS 1st rounder is same pick)

Thoughts?
