What game does Dusty play his 300th in? Surely he is due for a rest soon.

My guess is he is rested for the lions game and plays it v Hawks.

He will get managed off the back of the 5 day break between the Cats game and Crows game

I remember the Carlton round 1 game really vividly. He looked on from the get go and by the time he launched that torp from D50 I think we all got a sense of “stuff we might have a decent season this year”

People crap on about “Dangerfield had a statistically better year” but no one broke the game open to the level martin did that year with insane field passes and goals when we needed them the most. His don’t argue on Tom Stewart in the QF is also forever living rent free in my brain

Never would I have thought we’d win the premiership though.

He's cooked, his skills have dropped to sub VFL level level. Used to hit targets and goals with is eyes closed.. no longer, more often misses targets than hits them. F his 300, doesn't deserve a game ATM. Reminded me of Dangerfield today, got plenty of ball but snuffed most kicks

Your comments on dusty continue to be beyond disrespectful.

A champion of our club who has earned the right to go out on his terms.

You’re vastly over exaggerating your criticisms to the point they lose all credibility. Literally our second highest possession winner there’s plenty more that should come out before he does and who exactly is he keeping out of the side? We’ve got like 5 afl listed players playing in the ressies and none are fit to lace his boots.

I’d rather watch dusty play 300 games then just about anything else that this club can dish up this season.

Dusty can do what he likes. He's a legend.

But he also should be realistic with what he is able to contribute moving forward

If he can impart anything to the youngsters whilst he remains then so be it.
The club that keeps giving.

Just sit him the goal square and at the odd centre bounce.... :shh

Sam the dud love story Naismith. 6 useless possys

Mansell 8 and 2 tackles

Give me Dusty any day than those 2.

The issue isn't Dusty, the issue is the coach not just leaving him forward, and also no one willing to stand up.

Pickett  Graham short Grimes etc should not get any more games . Adding Dow and banks in there is just plain stupid of you

So how about you go and post on all of their threads instead of coming on here and taking pot shots at an RFC immortal, because ***checks notes*** he isn’t as good now as he was in his 20s  ::)

I’m still wondering, given all of those others that you mentioned shouldn’t get anymore games, who exactly is replacing them all + keeping dusty as the sub? Last time I checked we had only a handful of afl listed players in the 2s.

And no, naming those 2 isn’t stupid of me. While I still have hope for banks given he’s an outside player anyway, I can’t see Dow being here for anymore than a couple more seasons. I’d much rather savour the last few games we have of the champ then watch some fringe players get some games just because they are in their early 20s.

Like I said, let me know when the other 5-10 senior players performing worse then dusty are out of the side and there’s anyone in the 2s still not playing that warrants selection.

Until then let’s try to show the champ some respect and enjoy what may be his last season.
