Both Miller and young have a really bad habit of losing the ball in the air because they’re watching their opponent

We are making Melbourne look average without actually doing anything spectacular.

Thomson Dow is managing to make HRS look like a cross between Francis Bourke and Jack Dyer

No co-captains this year thankfully. Nank's the sole captain.

Hopper 42% efficiency
He is having a crack and our clearance work has improved heaps thanks to him. Most of his kicks have been under extreme pressure

Maurice Rioli is shutting many critics up. He's been our best player thus far.

So much negative bulltish in this thread. Fair dinkum. We've been sensational given we have the 18th best forward line in the comp, and prolly the 17th best midfield. Love it when the whipping boys are going well too, makes a lot on here uncomfortable. MJR WILL be a player and is starting to actually dominate opponents. Pickett good, HRS good, Banks good etc etc. We may get overrun in the 2nd half, but the green shoots are there if you want to see them. Plenty don't want to tho.

Spot on. If it weren't for Grimes we would be 2 goals up. But the score is irrelevant for me ATM. It's the green shoots. Waiting for the moment Maurice Rioli truly believes in himself and he belongs.  He is showing great signs . His destiny is in his hands
