Talking Footy Mark II
« on: May 01, 2024, 09:45:30 PM »
Adem Yze is this week's guest on the new version of Talking Footy

Coming up after The Front Bar on Ch7

Sure they will make a big deal of Cotch and Yze "face to face" for the first time since Cotch's comments about Baker and Dusty a few weeks back
"Oh yes I am a dreamer, I still see us flying high!"

Bit of a non event really  :lol

Only interesting thing that came out of it was Yze confirmed he hasn't yelled at the players or given them a spray

Rest of it was basically a rehash of last Wednesday's after match presser

He is streets ahead of Dimma in that area, when Dimma started. In fact Hardwick was never that comfortable in front of the camera but he learned to use it well.

Seriously, what's your issue with the lasting legacy comments?

Dusty is going to leave a legacy on our Club, the Cubs are learning off and he's enjoying that leadership role..

What's the problem?

What FJ is correctly saying is that Dusty already has his legacy. Brownlow, three premierships, three norm smiths

Whatever happens this year or next (if he continues) isn’t what cements his legacy .. it’s already cemented

So the coach is highlighting another legacy he will leave on the Club and it's a terrible thing?

The only lasting legacy dusty will leave with is one where he played out his career as a disinterested, bored player who's skill level, intensity and desire faded away to nothing . Let's be brutally honest, his performance and skill level this year doesn't even warrant him being selected .
Yze has a big issue, every player is vitally important to him, they are all leaders, spirit lifters , bla bla bla.
Said the same about Short this weak. Short is no leader nor spirit lifters, he's a fraud . Mansell shows 100 times more leadership, and provides more spirit than snowflake short .
Yze is becoming a broken record . Every time he talk the same dribble is coming out.

Give me this version of dusty over mansell every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Dustys legacy will be as one of if not the greatest tiger who ever played.

That's exactly how he should be remembered!!! I agree, he's our greatest ever player. It just saddens me watching him fade away... It's not right.. watching his skill, power, explosiveness fade away fast is sad.

exactly, Yze should stfu about Dustys legacy and focus on these other duds getting games.

Dusty has nothing to prove and especially to a bloke he just met that is dribbling a lot of crap lately.

Barrett in his Sliding Doors column:

"New coach Adem Yze being given no chance to make an impact in his debut season. Lynch, Balta, Taranto, Prestia, Hopper, Gibcus, Ross all still out."
