Love this

Will be great to not have a week of pure misery from flogs in the media and champions on here wanting to crucify everyone and delist half the club

Having said that Castagna is the worst player in the AFL at the present time :lol and young Pickett had at least 5 opportunities to go back with the flight but pulled out each time....classic case of being considered a hard man because he smashes blokes with their head over the footy but rarely sticks his own body on the line. #5 from Brisbane dishes and takes it
I work in Africa and they were taking the pee out of me for saving Africa.......

Feels great to be back on the winners list and what a win with so many of our best 22 out against a quality side like Brisbane. It’s crazy how we give up runs of goals in such short timeframes this season when one of the defining qualities of our last 5 years was being able to stem the damage when the games not on our terms.

I don’t think we’ll have enough to go with Geelong next week which will likely unfortunately put the nail in the coffin of our season but I’d love to be wrong.

Is this a joke? They called 5 dangerous tackles and you could argue none of them were there.

Club should challenge Nank's.

Anyone know what the definition of a dangerous tackle is:

A) any tackle applied by a Richmond player
B) a tackle applied by a Richmond player, that, if applied by another team, would normally result in a holding the ball free kick.

Great to have Nank back. Made a real difference. Thought Parker was okay and showed abit of promise.

Hockings cheating appointed  mate Christian! We have got rough end of the stick since he was appointed.
If were judged the same as Collingwood we would have a good run, hope he goes

AFL Report Card: Round 18

Max Laughton, Ben Waterworth, Ben Cotton and David Zita
Foxsports
19 July 2021

RICHMOND

That’s more like it. After a month where they looked like they’d been sapped of their juice by the Space Jam aliens (the original ones, obviously), the premiers roared back into top eight calculations with a much-needed upset of Brisbane – in what’s becoming one of the best modern rivalries, we might add. Unfortunately a kidney injury that’ll keep Dustin Martin out for the remainder of the season soured an otherwise excellent night.

In the votes

This says it all: six goals in your 300th game. Jack Riewoldt, you superstar. He led the way but was ably assisted by Mabior Chol (four goals), who has clearly grown in the period where Toby Nankervis wasn’t in the side and took full advantage of being able to spend more time as a forward. Nankervis was very influential too, proving how much they’ve missed him, while Jack Graham (19 disposals, two goals) impressed – Leigh Montagna said on The First Crack on Sunday night that he could be Richmond’s next captain.

Room for improvement

Really hard to find a complaint here.

No surprise we had our best effort for a month or so and won the game on the back of workrate and getting back to our pressure game.

Pressure rating            181    - highest since round 13
Fwd pressure rating     172    - highest since round 12
