I think he improved dramaticaly under the tutorage of Lade. Taught him where to run to and how to be offensive. Really like all our coaches this year but particularly Lade, Leppa and Dimma - great team.

Big ask to have a 22 year old be the #1 ruck for almost an entire season, from where he was he has come a long way
Still plenty of improvement to go, but he's stepped up enough that he can offer protection for Vickery & Browne as they develop slowly and we don't need to trade for a more mature ruckman

Gus is developing nicely and after a big 2010 the world is at his big feet.

The Mutton Bird diet is paying off.  :shh

And another Calder Cannon doing well at Tigerland.

Go Gus.

Think he did pretty well this year, Stats wise he is in a slightly better position but no Simmonds or ayone to ruck with this year.
He had to take the No 1 ruck spot and stood up well i think, especially late in the season when he seemed to be running out of steam the only support he has was Post pinch hitting here and there.
He has some mongrel in him and seems to be learning a lot from Lade. As Browne and Vickery come along i can see him getting better still, god knows he is still a baby in ruck terms.

7/10  :clapping and a bonus round of applause.
