Walls was great for Fitzroy in the mid 80s, the Bears in terms of legacy, and of course Carlton. However, he was never accepted when he coached us given his Carlton background. Especially so after we failed to make the finals by just half a game in his first year as coach in 1996. He tried to get us to play a more possession-based gameplan rather than the direct route one way under Northey. But we didn't have a skilled enough team for that sort of gamestyle.

Yep. What the Selwood family would be going through right now is beyond words. They would be still very much in grief over Troy's passing and now Adam his twin brother has died so soon afterwards. Just awful awful news.
